Whats your dream Cross ?

i'd love to see you post smoke reports on your gear here. actually, that would be a cool suggestion for overgrow... a breeder's corner. i have some
C99 x haze skunk
C99 x super cali haze
C99 x LSD
along with a back cross and a couple UFOs that got tagged at the last minute i wanted to test & report on. i think C99 would be nice with all three strains cutting the flowering time of the hazes and the couchlock of the LSD.

That's rough to do when you're running a 9 light system. Individually stressing 500-1k tops is quite time consuming. Just running it all through a screen takes a bit of time. I've decided to try and breed it instead to get a more desirable plant structure and more citrus flavor.

that's a mighty big grow. i only had a 400w halide with maybe 10 ladies at the most growing at any time, so i had more time to just hang out with the gals. for me, just being in the room was so relaxing. smelling the gear... looking at it, caring for it... maybe even talking to it from time to time or at least making sure to breathe on it any time i thought to.

i'd NEVER go over the 49 limit even if i were really into breeding & had a card collection.

I keep it under 99 all year. I veg/top a lot. I preveg for a couple weeks in small pots under t5's before putting them in my main room, then transfer them into 5g smart pots and veg another 1-2 weeks, topping them a couple times before I flip to 12/12, then top one more time before the end of week 1 of 12/12. I make a bunch of bushes rather than having excessive amounts of plants.

It's not too much work except during OD season where I do a greenhouse at another spot. This time of year gets a bit hectic, but the rest of the year I get plenty of free time. I do spend the time taking care of each plant. It's a lot of work, but I still manage to get enough free time.

some other dream crosses:
burmese x columbian gold (75%) if i knew i could get good burmese as everyone that has it is sketchy with the plan of back crossing & in breeding to get as close to pure gold as possible

yeah a breeders corner could be a good idea

Some time next year ill pop some JTR seeds and get f1's with a Mr. Nice Neville's haze. now that would be a interesting cross... i just need the parentage, and i have to grow them and smoke them before i know.

that breeding experiment would take years with a true sativa like neville's haze. she goes around 14-17 weeks. exactly why i never bothered to grow it.

you really have to love breeding to tackle IBLs, or at least have a nice outdoor spot you can "set & forget", but if you want "the best", you gotta be patient.

from what i've heard, there's a lot of IBL growth still in california. it must be nice to live in mendo.

It's already been done, SOUR GRAPES!

I have pollen in a jar of a Jillybean male i've kept for its orange velvet smell and resin production, mostly indica dominant but makes anything i breed with it stretch like a sativa. i want to cross this male to a blue mystic female clone with a blueberry velvet smell/flavor i'm running now and make a possible double velvet. pollinated today (21 days flowering) so (Jillybean[TGA MzJill] x Blue Mystic[Nirvana seeds]) f1's on the way in 6 weeks.

If I told you someone might make it before me and I can't risk that
done extensive research on the strains I want to cross and so farthese two haven't been mated
