I'm a broke m*tha f*cker, the best I ever did was 74K a year as a rigger for a crane in the Oil Field "rig mover". Tough work and ridiculous hours. One day off a month, 2 if I was lucky.
I use to rent bulldozers and dig stock ponds, I rent the dozer for $500 a day, about $120 in diesel. I'd charge $1200 a day. So I was making about 600 in a 8 hour day. But finding consistency was the only issue.
My last job as a bar manager was decent, but corporate BS was a little to much.
Now I just bartend at a private dive bar, I make 5.25 a hour plus tips. I usually bring home between 100 to 200 a night mostly tax free. I get to hang out with beautiful girls and have a great time at work.
So I'm contempt with my life at the moment. And then there is the garden. But I am still broke. I got a house I am renting on the first, so no more splitting profits.

But I am splitting a small basement with this chic and I saved up enough to get a really nice house. I move out in 7 days, I actually rented an apartment at the beginning of this month, but never moved in. Not sure what is going to happen over the lease but then I found this place two weeks later.
Y'all completely forget all the equipment is mine, he did however get a lot of his own stuff now. But he still needs random stuff like inline fans.
He contributed all of the strains from his networking and through his job. I'll give him credit for that.
Some things I don't agree with, I think we should have harvested twice as much as we have. We are only on our 4th harvest?!?! And that is with two flower rooms. But I understand he has kids and works 50+ hours a week.
But the beauty is, I've got to see everything grown out and I can simply choose what strains I want. I've got see what works here and what doesn't. How to deal with PM and temps here.
My biggest issue is he has like 40+ strains atm. I plan on running 4. He switches every single grow, first it was hand fed, then drain to waste, then drip and now he is on tables, he has also switch nutrients every single run. I believe in, dialing in one technique and sticking to it.
Sorry there is clearly a difference in opinions.
But we both share a master plan, and we will get there soon enough.
I'm still blown away that we can move most of our stuff locally for over 2k a piece

For music gigs I make anywhere from $150-$200 per hour, but that's only about 4-6 hours per week. As for growing, I make about $110 per hour. I work a LOT more of those hours 
The least I make is busking (street performing), I can make as little as $50 per hour that way. But that's mainly for fun, promotion, and experience...
Edit - Growing I make $220 an hour. I was calculating that I work 20 per week, when it's really 20 hours every 2 weeks. That's better...
