When can i flower..!

I have 3 ice plants. they are all about 11 inches tall and have 5 - 6 nodes. Is it possible to flower now or will I be doing it prematurley if I do?

you can flower when you want in reality you could start your plants on 12/12. The smaller the plant the less places for bud production but potency is normally the same. Im flowering at 13 inches cause i need weed bad.

you could flower now it. when i hear you say 11 inches tall and 5-6 nodes i get the feeling that thing didnt go perfectly.

Why do u say that?

he means your plant is too tall for only having 5nodes. they must have stretched.

yea thats what i meant.

my plant is about 10" tall, with 6-7 nodes. should i just start 12/12 now? or keep vegging until it's 12"

what kind of light are you using for budding?

depends on grow room size, light, and number of plants. with a ten inch plant expect it to get 30 inches during flowering.

Okay for both you people asking 'when can I flower my plant' you should go on sexual maturity and age, not height or number of nodes.

Plants reach sexual maturity from seed after about 8 weeks, about the time the nodes start alternating - thats the time to put it into flower.

However, if you have height restrictions in your grow space and area, bearing in mind most Indicas will double in height and most Sativas triple or quadruple in height and hybrids somewhere in between, you need to consider the practical problems of flowering before the 'ideal' 8 weeks of sexual maturity.

one onf my plants is like... 7 Inches tall with 6 nodes and the other one is like... 4 inches tall with like...4 nodes on it... is that good?

If you have no height restrictions and are not trying to SOG (or other methods) flowering once the nodes begin to alternate. Like BabyGro said this is an indication that a plant is mature.

but my 400W hps is just like 5 inches from the plants. perhaps i dont no what a node is

Hey mate top of da evening for ya, YEs matey that is a good size to flower remmeber that the plants will about triple thier size in the flowering stage keep us posted and have a good grow : )
