but the thing is they are already five inches out of the dirt and one has been getting its first set of leaves in for a couple of days now. should i still go ahead and put them out in may or june?

It depends on what temperatures and what amount of sunlight you have in your area
i live in tx and i have plants outside already because our weather is already in the mid 70s, but some days i bring them inside when it is dark or a little cold. it really all depends on the temp, and they still need more sunlight right now, so i have to bring mine back in and put them in my grow room

it depends what the temp is outside, go to my outdoor texas post, and there is a chart of when the last freeze is for each area, and u usually want to wait till after that, but as long as its warm u should be ok, u may just wanna bring them in at night so they dont get cold.

You can put your plant outside no problem, just put them out when it is safe to start planting outside the date varies depending on where you live
