When do they fatten up?

When you say 5 day flush, does that mean you Flush for 5 days straight or 5 flushes in a 8 week period?
I've always been super confused when people say they do a 5-10 day flush:confused:
Flush 5 days straight with RO water starting week 9. No flush during 8 week period.

Yep! Just swap out your nutrient water with RO water. Continue normal feeding for 5 days with the RO water.
what are your thoughts on flushing coco every week or every other week... flushing as in 10 gallons of water with 1/4 nutes for a 3 gal pot once

Flushing weekly or every other week is unnecessary.

Just make sure during feeding the plants are watered thru and you get around 10-20 % runoff from the bottom of the pot to avoid any nutrient lockouts.

Only times I flush during a run would be if the RO system unexpectedly takes a dump and I accidentally feed a hot shot to the plants. Or if using PGR sometimes the media will get flushed before introducing the next additive. Other than that media is only flushed if something drastic happens. Once in a blue moon thing. 10 gal of flush for a 3 gal pot is a little excessive. I would do 6gal max on a 3 gal pot. 1/4 strength nutes or plain RO water is fine. I've done both ways.. Nutes and no nutes during flush. Works the same.
