When do you start day 1 of Veg?

What's going on community how is everyone doing??
I am interested in knowing when you guys and ladies start day one of veg? Here is s video from my YouTube channel of how I'm doing it. Please give your thoughts and suggestions.

The day my little girls sprout. But I don't pay much nevermind as time has no bearing, only size.

about 2 weeks after germ

always include a dog tag with strain and date of germ

come harvest date check trics are to your satisfaction first

A couple to 3 weeks they will be little and build roots. About the time they take off is the start of veg.

Time really doesn't matter as said. Only size.

True that. But i will say that i will wait until 4th node before moving from a cfl to my hids..

The day they sprout is the start of week one.

Is that about the time the sun gets stronger when growing outdoors?

Awesome. Right on thank you all for your input, I appreciate it. I usually wait two weeks after seedlings has surfaced and then start veg. But doing a scrog for this run.

I count veg after week 3 of seedling usually

It depends on the strain.... hahaha

Size is a better mark for determining plant maturity. Once I see the 4th node growing out the top shoot I know the seedling is established and the vegetative growth stage is now underway.

Soon as they pop out of the soil is day one for me. But i count only for comparison pureposes to other runs of the exact same strain. Otherwise the number doesnt mean much really.

I though this was a spoof on all the....When does flowering actually start threads.

The plant is in veg from sticking it's little head out of the soil or, what ever you have it in to start.

PERIOD......The plant is "in" veg till you flip to bloom lighting times....

No period, but we can agree to disagree. Perhaps it would help if you thought of the seedling stage as a sub stage of veg? I see clear growth differences between the two so I define them separately. In the end, it only matters when describing pics, my week one plants will be bigger than yours!

STRAIN DEPENDENT!

I see your opinion from a feeding point of view.
I put them in 28 day feeding soil......Back to my veg from pop......point of view.....

Any idea that veg starts on any set day....Is more useless then when "day 1 of bloom starts".

I mean come on here. They stop veg when you flip.....That's that.... so, from seed to what?

Day 1 for me has always been when the sprout breaks the surface.
