when does flowering start outdoor in kentucky and when is the first frost? +rep

depends on what strain you grow.budding usually starts last couple weeks of july to first of august.first frost or freeze is usually mid to late october.needs to finish no later than mid october.

your plants will n ow when it is geting colder and will speed up the flowering they have survived how many years as a wild plant there is a reson it is called weed!!!

this is totally wrong and bad advice what if he is growing a long flower sativa and frosts come early? also temp has no effect on flower time only light hours. dont give advice to growers if your not sure of what you are saying bad info spreads fast online.

It's always best to start an outdoor grow after the summer soltice when the days are already starting to get shorter because a plant with have plenty of time to veg. without becoming a tree. Otherwise anytime after the first frost is good to get them in the ground. If you plant them in the ground then watch what strain because a sativa might not have enough time to flower out like an indica would. I start my outdoor grows in March or April - was a bit late this year because SWMBO booked a vacation in March. You want to get a good bit of vegetative growth done before the plants start flowering when they recognise that the days are getting shorter - late July early August for me.

yea i'm from here but lived about everywhere in the states...came back early this year.
got some diesel indoor and some bagweed outdoor. from the looks of it everything's good....i'm guessin october 14 is my due date outdoor going by frost estimation,but they'll be done b4 the end of this month

yeah my buddy harvested to plants this year and brought the bud to my house freshlt picked and we smoked some but the tris where all still white. i thought he harvested early and you just proved me right.
