when flowering you should have a powerfull enough light to cover both ? but if you are asking which part of the plant absorbes the light then i can go into that as well

well i have a ton of cfls lyin around i was wondering what absorbs more or what should it be closer 2 the leaves or buds

the leaves have more area than the buds and absorb more light, if thats what you are asking

ya what would help get more useable light to the plant having more light on the buds or the sun leaves in the bud.... does the bud not absorb any light that it uses like what im trying to say what would i need 2 do 2 optimise the best groth with lights where should they be aimed at if u understand this
