if you are in soil you can start the grow 2-3 weeks after seed (soil has sufficient nutrients to feed the plant for about that long) and at 50% dose.. after another 2-3 weeks increase to 100% dose... these times can be adjusted by judgment on the size of the plant... you dont want to burn with the nitrogen in grow so if your baby stays fairly small you may want to increase the time untill 100% dose... bloom comes when you flower... make sure to read the instructions and follow them carefully.. each product has its own directions.

i use bio grow and their bloom booster too.
It alos depends on what compost youre using, as some are good for around 6wks, but the best rule of thumb is to wait until the Cotyledon leaves(first small round leaves) go yellow and die, then start feeding.
its pretty tough to over dose a plant with organics, and i tend to start off 1/6 ---> 1/4 ---> 1/4 --->1/2 strength, vary rarely find many of my plants will take full dose without getting nute burn.
Also remember to flush your pots every few wks with ph'd water, so you dont get excess salt build up and ph fluctuation, because alot of nutes will lower the ph.
When you start flowering, continue to use the bio grow, but maybe at 1ml max, just to ensure your medium has enough NPK to maintain the plant thru til harvest....stop adding the bio grow 2-3wks before harvest.
for example as soon as they show sex i use 1ml bio grow, 1/2 strength bloom, and 1 tsp of molasses...drop the bio grow 3wks before the harvest window, continue using bloom, until around 10 days before harvest and flush with ph'd water.
kinda helps get the last growth spurt outta the plants, and uses the last remaining traces of any nutes in the soil.

my cotyledon leaves did not die untill a few weeks after flowering (4 weeks veg),,, so is this really a good rule of thumb?
just curious,, im not saying you are wrong,, the rest of the post makes good sense i was just asking

Lol ya got me bro...
But yeah, generally the plants are ready for feeding when the Coty's die, maybe you had some soil with great nute levels and the plant didnt eat itself(coty) until it was ready to flower.

As i said in the previous post, Some composts have enough nutes for upto 6 wks, so if you vegged for 4wks,then went to flower, it was only just starting to run out of nutes that were available in the soil.

i did buy premium soil... i know most time the cots die within the first month at the most.. i was quite surprised myself when they lasted so long... than again i think this last one has been the most vigorous plant i have ever seen grow... i also babied the hell out of her :D

I only make my plant food batches in 1L amount and that's 1/4 can I still increase their food to 100% even though I'm making there foon in 1L batches?

ideally you need to mix the amount of nutes in proportion to the amount of water...
So if your nutrient dosage info says 10ml per Gallon, you would use approx 2-3ml per litre.
hypothetically if you stuck 10ml in 1 litre the dose would be too high concentration and would probably cause rapid build up of excess waste salts...Also, too high concentration of nutes, sometimes makes the soil go clumpy, and kinda sticky, which would also happen to the roots, and that could possibly retard their growth...a bit like if ya stuck a shitload of molasses in there, which makes it hard for the roots to penetrate and covers them in sticky crap that hinders their ability to absorb o2.
