When should I start flowering?

I started some plants from seeds, don't know what kind they are, I just got them from some buds(Its my first time growing figured I would save money and learn). I am using 4 48" fluorescents (I think they put out about 1600-2000 lumes(spelling?) a piece). I planted them like a month+ one week ago. Umm not sure what else you guys need to know... I think I would like to have bud ready to smoke about a week before Christmas(little Christmas present to myself) if thats even possible. I was thinking about starting flowering on sunday. Whast do you guys think?

Thanks,
Ducka

Yup:-P And I have 7leafs on some of the branches. So you think I should start flowering now? I did transplant them yesterday night if that matters, they seem to be doing great though.

Also another question. Which is better for them distilled water or rain water?

Just make sure the plants nodes are alternationg and you are set, it is a mature plant. Never heard of the 5 node thing but it might be a good rule of thumb to go by.

I wish you the best of luck! peace

You think I'll have the fruits of my labor ready before Christmas?

8-12 weeks plus time to dry and cure (I think you should do 5-7 days drying and 2-3 weeks curing, but that might be more than you need).

But that doesn't mean you can't smoke at least some for Christmas. Little baby Jesus would've wanted it that way.

haha... Hey how does the drying and curing go? Ive read the FAQ and I think you dry then cure the dry some more. Is that right?

What are the quickest ways to cure and dry without making the bud taste like a turd?
