When to harvest seed crop?

This is a plant that I put out extremely late and I believe is seeded. I've heard that when harvesting for seed you can either let them go late or harvest same as normal. I've got a 100x scope that I'm going to check them with but if anyone has some advice Id appreciate it.

Here are some pics

squeeze the buds gently to see of there are any seeds in them , if u feel seed, take one out and see if it looks mature with tiger stripes and dark.

If you do not care about the buds let it go as long as you can.
When I make seeds I let the buds go until the seeds are falling out.

You could bring it inside and give it artificial light or cover it when temps are going to be low.

Well with the weather being crappy and me being inpatient I decided to pull it yesterday. These are some seed that where easy to pull, the rest i got trimmed up and I'm going to dry first. Do these look viable?

yep, they could have gone longer but most of those will pop

I have always believed that plants from bigger seeds get a head start and tend to do better
I could be wrong, fuckifiknow
