when to harvest?

7 weeks, sativa-dom strain. starting to bud very nicely. but even with my scope its hard to tell if they are cloudy... bout 30% pistils red. some trichs cloudy i guess. no amber at all, but i read somewhere that u harvesting early in sativa so u dont ruin the high with the cbns or whatever, how much longer should i wait.

isn't amber red? lol I would harvest when 1/4 of the trichomes are amber and 3/4 is milky. Flush when u notice they are all milky and get a better microscope.

Sativas typically take a long time to finish, or at least finish properly. If you're only at week seven, My guess with no photos, is that you've got at least another 5-7 weeks minimum, probably a bit longer. Hair color means nothing, keep an eye on those trichs. If you have any experience smoking good bud, you'll know when they're ready.

o ok so i need to have more posts to upload photos. ok. and ya im just gettin anxious this my 1st. i have a good scope too 60x to 100. but i still find it hard to tell whether the leaf trichs are cloudy, on the actual buds they are somewhat cloudy but not on leafs

ok my friend your pic shows us you still have alot of time to wait before this beauty is ready!! i would say about 4 to 5 weeks maybe 6 but in the end she will be one sexy biach!!!

yea you have a LONG while before its ready..

Ledhed is right......you've got a long time to go. Your hairs haven't even withered yet- I see fresh bright white hairs there. You've got to figure 11-14 weeks before chop. You won't be happy if you cut before then.
