i am in 9 days of flowering and i have 3 plants. 1 female, 1 male and the other have not yet shown signs of sex.

i was maybe thinking of keeping the male and if the other turns out female.........just have them mate.

how long till the male open up and pollenate?

the male plant smells pretty awesome. stronger scent then the female. was hoping he'd turn atleast into a herm but i just see balls and not a single hair

if you want the male plant so you can have your seeds then i wouldnt worry about it! but i beleve once the sacs starts forming they can be mature enough to pollenate overnight

well the one that is a female, i don't want that to produce seeds. the other i don't mind.

was thinking of building a divider in the grow room (small grow room and don't have much space in the closet or elsewere).

i just don't want to end up separating too late with the female that is already budding

If you don't want your female to get pollinated get rid ov the male, Males flower before females so there for will pollinate the females, Get rid ov it unless you want some seeds.

thats the thing he wants one to have seeds so he can have extra seeds for his self but the othe female he dont! if you make a devider your male plant will still polinate your female! you need to take the female plant that you dont want to have seeds and put in a different room or another closet or something! but a divider wont do it unless its air tight! but your plants need some air

ah ok gotcha now. damn........the male plant was pretty HUGE and leaves were bigger then my hand.

i almost feel bad killing him off after taking such good care of him lol. the one that hasn't shown signs of sex yet is the same age as the male plant but VERY much smaller. about a good foot smaller.

read that males grow faster then females so hoping that one is a female

Take the male out right away if you don't want it to pollinate your girls. Now put the male in another place. Not in the same room/closet. A seperate box in another part of the house or outside works good. Now collect the pollin from the male (do a search on collecting pollen) and pollinate the parts of the female plant that you want. This would usually be the lower shoots where the buds aren't that big anyway. In this way you don't pollinate the whole female plant and you get lots of seeds still.
