I was just wondering when to put my plant into 12/12?
She's 17 days old and i dont have much height to play with and i only got 2 cfl's, 1 equivelant to 75w and the other to 60w.
2 pc fans as intake outtake and a good fan to cover the stem ;).
In a 2 gallon plant pot after being repotted twice since day 1.
She (fingers crossed) is looking rally healthy seen as its my first grow.
The box is 2' tall 2' wide and 3' long.

:joint: Oh and im using bagseed.

You can start flowering anytime you want, just keep in mind that they'll at least double in size during flower :bigjoint:

oh, and you'll want at least 100 watts, not 100 watts equivalent.

Right now the nodes are across from each other. Alternating nodes is when they are not lined up next to each other. Its hard to explain.

When a plant is beginning to preflower that is basically a sign of sexual maturation. A lot of people will wait until this stage to start 12/12.Technically you can put them into flowering whenever you want to. I actually have a little 7 in baby thats almost done flowering with one beautiful buddy. I never thought it was actually going to produce anything so I didn't keep track of when i put it in, but i feel like it was as young as yours if not a few days younger. Obviously, you're not going to reach its maximum potential if you don't have enough size. Also, if your confined space was the only reason for doing 12/12 early you should take topping and bending into consideration. Both these methods will temporarly stunt vertical growth. Perfect for a height problem. If you need more information contact me or look up plant pruning methods.
