When to start flowering ? Please need help!

I started my seed 3 months ago under 250 watt phillips HID lamp and it is now 20cm/ nearly 8 inches. Im spraying the leaves with 10-9-6 npk fertilizer and using 6.5-7 ph pot soil. I started with 16/8 light cycle then swithed it to 14/10 now its 13/11 and Im thinking of start flowering with a 250 watt Hps light. Temp is around 23 day time and 13 night time.Humidity is around 50%. My seeds are not feminized so I dont really know whats gonna happen. Here are some pics so that you have a better idea and please comment me about how to boost my yield and give me some advices for flowering cause there is no sign of early flowering.

So yo vegged for 3 months? if that so i think you did something wrong ... you were suppose to vegg for 25 30 days

Veg at 18/6 for 30-45 days and flip from 18/6 to 12/12 till sex shows.

kill males and switch back to 18/6 till you complete LST and Supercropping.

60-70 days put back into 12/12 under your strongest lights.

change to a bloom nute but don't withhold nitrogen.

I have learned that my plant is happiest below 500 PPM.

its a Sativa dom hybrid (Unkown bag seeds)

it took 20 seeds and killing 16 males to get my 4 girls.

I vegged it for 2 months lets say cause for the first month there was the germination and seedling phase.the leaves are bigger than my hand. The plant is in 5 litre pot

Kong is correct ...dude thats 3 months what you use a candle...OK sorry but dude boot that 250w HPS, is more heat than light, and get a 400w hps/mh digital your plant is grown under a red light, exect popcorn buds and see the gap between leaves, if this was mine I'd give it a month under a 200w CFL of the cool white(6500k) color to encourage horizontal growth, 30 days later to the 400w hps for 12x12 for 2 months.

See the red stems thats too cold at night, find some way to keep the temps up at night, ease back Rh to 30% for bud and reduce mold

Temp drops down to 10-13 at night time and it rises to 23-25 daytime. Im using a metal halide 250 watt philips bulb with blue spectrum not red spectrum. The light is placed 40 cm above the plant in my bedroom.

Looks like she got off to a slow start. Couple things come to mind when I see that....over watering and soil that does not have a lot of drainage. I always mix lots of perlite into my soil.....You need to establish good root growth when they are young. A 250 will work but not most efficient light. I would add in some CFL lighting as well as long as your not getting to hot. A 10-15 degree drop from night and day temps is about all you want. Some run lights during night and off during day to help with that. How often are you foliar feeding? Personally I would transplant into bigger pot, keep vegging for a couple weeks (2-3). 5 liters is not very big. Make sure soil is good with aeration....I would even bury the stem cut out that growth first couple nodes. I like 20/4 for Veg but 18/6 works too....when you go to 14/10 and 13/11 your pretty much bringing her into flower. I would not flower at this point and let her go back to 18/6 asap!

Thank you. This is my first grow and Im working with limited materials but in a comfortable environment. I have time max untill the end of may cause my parents are gonna move to our summer house. It was much more smaller than this 20 days ago and it is showing a constant progress and keep growing. Thats why I tought everything is going fine. Temp used to be a bit lower at nite times but now its above 10 C . I though Metal Halides are better than Cfls and the heat produced by the lamp is good for me cause I cant control the temp and humidity

What strain do you think is this and how mony months do I need to complete ?

Mh and hps are great for big grows and big plants as their lights penetrate deeper with added heat and electricity and cfls and leds are better for micro grows and lower yields unless you use alot of lumens they also let off less heat (still let off heat) and are very cheap to run.... finding out strain is difficult but finding out if its sativa dom or indica dom is simplier by the size of their leaves... i forget if its broad and short is indica or the slim and lanky is stativa that youll have to look up

But usually veg is 30 days max and flowering 40 45 days

It was a seedling on the 10th of January so actually its not 3 months of growth. Do you think I should transplant it into a 8L pot and keep vegging for 3 weeks more ?

and also can you predict the sex cause my seed is not feminized it came out of a bud actually

No you can not predict sex youll have to wait till flowering to find out by pistols or ballsacs ... and the days start from the day you plant your seedling into the dirt ... to start flowering place light cycle on 12/12 if its been over a month i would start the flowering process

I transplant my plant into 8L pot and decided to veg it for another week under 14/10. Im using lights at nite time to protect plants from cold. Its getting taller each day.
