When to start nutes

Hi everyone, I know that you dont start nutes in soil for the first 2 weeks but what about soiless mix? I am growing in pro mix/perlite and have not been starting nutes for at least 2 weeks. Recently someone told me my plants were small for 3 weeks (6-8in) and I was thinking that maybe I should be feeding them Light nutes (100-300ppm) since they are in a soiless mix. The feeding chart I got with my nutes says feed 100-300 ppm in week 1, seedling.
Also I should say I am talking about rooted clones

Well it just depends what soil you buy to start off with there's soil with nutes in it and soil with out nutes so thats what gauges when to start adding food for your girls. So if your medium has no food and is airy like perlite you can feed more because there's more oxygen to the root base than soil. I clone at 400ppm in my ez cloner mind you it is a 100% oxygen system tho. It's a fine line you wanna be pushing your plants for maximum growth and yield but not burning them with nutes and every strain is different. You wanna see the leaves pointing straight out with a little yellowing at the tips. That when you know you have reached there peek on nutes. If the leaves curls down like a hand making a fist you need to flush with straight water immediately.

So it would be ok to feed my rooted clones light nutes? I am feeding tonight and am going to feed 200ppm. Does this sound ok? The plants are in pro mix with added 30% perlite. Thanks
