When to switch nutes

Good question, I started as soon as I hit the switch on my first grow, but as I approach that time on my second grow, I'm curious to know what the science is behind it as well.. hopefully others will chime in

I switched when I switched my lights and now realized that I should have kept with the veg while the plants stretched. The leave would stay green longer also rather than turning yellow.

Same scenario played out in my grow..

At least a week maybe 1.5, but depends. Let it make small budsites first and then start hitting it with bloom nutes, but if you have some non NPK bloom additives, you can already give a little, depending on what you are giving, little here and there is likely better than already starting a full feed of it. Personally i just wing it based on what feels right and often start moving to bloom nutes, reducing the amount of veg nutes and adding more bloom solution over a period of time instead of suddenly switching to bloom nutes.
