when to switch plant to 12/12

I want to conduct a micro grow and I have limited hight to work with. I know that once you switch the plant will grow twice it's size( So I've read) So in a nut shell, to minimize height when should I switch from 24/7 to 12/12. Thanks all and happy growing friends!

if you have limited height you might want to try a scrog grow.

Isn't it not good to have the plant grow So slowly in the seedling stage also causing stretch during night period? (If started 12/12 from seed)

Well I guess when it has reached .5 of your allotted space?

Lst or scrog, that way you can train her to fit your space and increase yields at the same time.
