when to transplant/soil

about 2 weeks, shes grown her 3rd node at about 4 inches. and start to drink water fast, when should i transplant? and if i do can i use 100% ffof? id like to use something at the bottom for flower of my 7 gallon, but atp its not worth it.

you have some very pretty plants! i would say leave a few more days before transplanting to let them fill the cup a little bit. 100%ffof is totally okay for these babes and if anything i bet they would love the nutes for their upcoming veg. i use grow bags now because of how amazingly convenient they are to use.

You can transplant now or next week. She's not root bound at this point. Next week will give your roots a better grip around the soil

I'm not familiar with fox farms, but I don't believe in layering soil. That idea was pushed when Super Soil came around. You can mix the "light" soil with the "too hot" soil to make...soil. I'd say just go all the way ffof. Any burns you see will be on the leaf tips, and shouldn't impact growth past 3 weeks seedling stage

Suggest an interim planter before going into the 7 gallon. Graduated containers get you better root systems and better plants faster. I go from Solos to 1.7 liter containers. From those to 3-5 gallon. You don’t need 7 if growing indoors.

you can grab a 3 or 5 gallon grow bag from a hydro/garden store. 5 packs are cheap asf;-)
