When to use sugar, and sweetners

This is what I'm using http://htgsupply.com/viewnutrient.asp?nutrientID=23700148. I was wondering, if anyone knows when to start this sweetening process?

if you use botanicare sweet, it has benificial aspects all through growth, but for just mollassess and or sugar the plant wont start using it till the second month of flowering
