When Will I Stop Feeling The Need To Stare Lovingly At My Plants For Hours And Hours?

;-)

I am on day 32 of some autos in my first grow, and they are really starting to look good. Their preflowers are starting to develop now. Those little white shoots are more and more plentiful every time I visit, and the plants themselves are green and healthy and really starting to fill out. So I feel this need all the time to go stare at them for hours and hours and hours. I just sit there and gaze at them and then look close up and then back off and stare again and then lean into another one and check it out and back off and start all over again. And then I finally force myself to leave and want to go right back. I want to live in there. I never want to leave. I want to breathe their beautiful vegetative muskiness and make it my entire world. I want to bathe in their leafy brilliance and lightly fondle their blooms and branches. I'm telling you...I just want to inhale them.

I'm a freak, aren't I?

I often find myself checking on my plant and stopping to stare through the day too. It brings a whole new love to marijuana .

sadly, it never goes away. i still remember the first time i laid eyes on a bulging cola.. that warmth in your chest is a light that burns for the life of your garden. your garden soul.

I'd say it's typical to want to spend a lot of time in the grow room. I'm starting some autos myself. It'll be my first grow. I was visiting my brother recently and he had 3 huge Perma-Roast plants that smelled great. I found myself sneaking away frequently so I could admire the lush green and enjoy the skunk/underarm odor of the plants. It was my first time seeing and smelling plants. I fell in love right away. As weird as it sounds I like the smell of my underarm odor which is also known as B.O. to others. Interestingly, I came to the assumption that weed smells like a cross between skunk and B.0.

hey still i do that, and im on grow 5, just wait till the final days!! you wont leave

i think its good for the plants, there are studies done that say that plants can feel your good vibes, and if not then atleast your adding CO2 to the air in there! :D

Every day, when I do my final check for the evening, I say goodnight to my plants and softly blow three times onto each of them. It's like their goodnight kiss. LOL

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who is enamored with my garden. I know the "newness" will wear off a little bit, but by starting over every several months, and trying different strains and methods, it will always be somewhat new, right? What a great hobby this is. Going into this, I really underestimated just how much fun this would be.

It doesn't go away. I grow with someone who doesn't even smoke and he's always checking on the girls.

i go into my closet where my ladies are blooming and i sit there and literal get lost. its like i inspect every single little thing on them because of course you dont wanna miss anything..wink wink. and the smell is so good and sweet that its almost like getting high just being in there with them..i love my girls and i did this my first grow too and each time for me is almost the same because each plant grows a little differently and a little faster or slower and some suck water when others.i really beleive that an attentive grower is the best.
