I wouldn't cut anything off. You could just bend it. It will shoot more bud sites off the sides every node so bending the top down a little bit will help those side bud sites catch up and get good light. Do some research, even a google search would of helped you out. Look up lst. Cutting of a leaf is not going to make it grow more tops. Neither will proper fimming or topping for that matter.. It just eliminates the top bud and lets 2 or 4 less impressive tops take over the sunniest spot. Fimming you cut 75% off of the newly formed leafs that are usually folded and pointing up. Topping entails cutting the stem above a node. Cutting leaves off will just stress your plant out and make it grow slower.

basicaly it will grow two sets of branches there where the two largest sets of leaves are now, if you nipped out the top without damaging the growpoints where it meets the stem. BUT its is way too early and will stunt your growth if you do it now allready, let it grow a few more nodes, look at Uncle Ben's topping thread.
