Where are patients legally allowed to consume medical marijuana?

I always wondered, where are patients LEGALLY allowed to consume their medication?
Out in public? In a car (that they are not driving obviously)?

Clearly anyone can choose to smoke anywhere at any given time; however, I'm curious as to what the law/regulations say on this, if anything at all.

anywhere you can legally have a cigarett you can have your meds just use discretion as much as you can and use respect for the people around you.

this is from HC's package from the form R renewal...
these are the high lights
you pupl does not allow :
others to produce MJ on your behalf
others to have any of your MJ(including seeds) in their possession;
you to sell or give any of your MJ(including seeds to others)
you to take your MJ(including seeds) outside Canada or to otherwise export it from Canada;
you to bring MJ(including seeds) into Canada or otherwise import into Canada;
you to carry MJ(including seeds) with you when you enter or when you leave Canada;
you to produce any derivatives of MJ such as Hashish,hash,oil etc.

Other Fed/Prov?Municipal Legislation
You are required to abide by all other federal provincial and municipal legislation
applicable to the activities authorized pursuant to this licence .This includes by-laws,fire,health and safety codes
and zoning and property use legislation that may be applicable to the production site.
Odours
HC advises you to be discreet with odours and the production of MJ,to respect those around you,who may be adversely affected.In addition
it is important to manage odours to ensure the site is discreet from the public,in order to maintain appropriate security measures.

your ATP does not allow you to:
consume MJ in an area where smoking is prohibited or circumvent any applicable laws or by-laws
produce MJ unless you also hold a LIc to produce.
allow others to use any of your MJ

HC advises people who hold an atp to limit consumption to a private location to respect those around them
who may be adversely affected by the consumption of second hand smoke . It is also important to note
that research studies have demonstrated that there may be a risk to the foetus,if a pregnant women
is exposed to chemicals contained in smoke or vaporized MJ.

Bla bla bla...What a bunch of bs.... Again health Canada and there scare propaganda.... First off other than cannabis smelling like anything from a wonderful skunk to a sweet pineapple and ever scent in between... How's is the smell of a flower adversely affecting anyone... Also the pregnant women... Someone did research l actually again did research they would know that is was already study in Jamaica... Findings marihuana has little to no adverse effects... There is no comparison to the terrible health effects of tobacco and alcohol.. Peace grow strong

gr your such a kid, give it a break dude. the smell, to a lot is very offensive! called respecting others. do what you want in your own home, but in public respect others or you give us a bad name. imo if your pregnant youd be stupid to injest any smoke but kids don't think like adults. its protecting humans and new borns. its not sayin you can injest in other ways, but smoke can still harm the newborn. why risk it????? you have a comment for everything dude, nothing wrong with being pro patient or anti gov but im trying to enjoy the threads

It is funny that mj strains have such a huge variety of smells....and for every weird smell or flavor...you will find someone who loves it and some one who hates it....
I had to laugh a while back...on one of the main boards , there was a huge discussion about, DOG POO smelling strains.......and another about rotten meat smelling strains...lol
and there were fans for both.....lol
I think same applies here for the smell of the smoked version...of any particular strain...
some are definitely more offensive than others....

I find that this isn't much of a problem as long as you have your license on you. If you don't have it than yeah it can often be a problem.

Try using a different browser, I find that IE works like shit at this place but haven't had any problems with google chrome.

As usual GrowRock, your rambling rants make no sense what so ever. The title of this thread is "Where are patients legally allowed to consume medical marijuana?" Please read the topic before replying with nonsense. Many of us would appreciate that. I am not saying that everything you post is nonsense, but please try to keep up with the adults here. If you don't understand what we are talking about, please return to the kid's table and let the adults talk.
