Where can I move?

Ok, here in about 5 years my kids will be on their own(better be). I really cant stand where I live in the US and looking to move once they are on their own. Ideally, my idea is to move somewhere on a beach and open a beach bar, and hopefully turn it into a kickass beach club, and just serve drinks and have a good time. Now, I am not really picky where in the world it is, it really does not matter to me. Bora Bora is on my place to visit someday. But I am looking for a long term place to just live. I just want to be in a low crime rate area and where the government leaves people alone as long as there is no reason to bug them. The only requirement is that it is pretty much warm all year, 70 degrees plus.
Any suggestions or ideas for places I could check out?

I know North Carolina has a lot of great places to live, and I'm pretty sure Delaware doesn't have any taxes.
Neither are warm all year though.

Warm is an absolute requirement. 70 degrees and warmer all year. It does not even have to be in the US.

Ok, let add to this some. I want it to be tropical, I mean really tropical. Reefs and such for some good scuba diving. I also dont really want to be close to cities, kinda out in the middle of no where, but enough traffic to support a bar on the beach.

BELIZE. Always 70-90 deg F. Beautiful beaches. Nice people. They have an official language - English. Strong government, low crime. If you bring $25K to open a business, you receive a personal government consultant to help all your burocratic needs.

If America gets any worse, I'm packing my bags.

I told you all I know. An aquantence owned a spread down there. He lived four months a year there. He said it was heven on earth. I checked web sites and what he said seems accurate. Oh, it's a democracy. No political corruption. Place is very law and order. If you are convicted of a crime you get thrown in jail. Murderers, rapists, and game poachers all live together. Government officials don't solicit or accept bribes. No one is starving, but the GNP is low. The country really needs foriegn investors. It is the only South American country that has NOT nationalized any industry. You can get competent, honest, labor for $5 a day. And they think your a great American because you gave them a job.

I suggest you contact their embassy and look into a visa. Transportation to Belize is air, ship, or bus. Look into that issue before you decide.

So, I don't know what else to tell you. But, if you really want to move to a sandy paradise, check out BELIZE.

costa rica is super cheap and beautiful...a couple friends of mine own a bar there and they rake in the cash. Only thing is that you really have to know the language and how to deal with the locals or they'll rob your ass blind lol

If you want somewhere hot and super-cheap. Move to Haiti. LoL J/K I was going to say Fla but I guess that's out of the question.
