That reuters link is a good one. Personally I rarely ever watch TV and certainly not the news. Each network takes a side and they all propagandize everything, BS IMHO. I don't read the paper either. I listen to the radio for the most part, AM stations mostly. Lots of independent AM radio out there. I surf the net also, but theres all sorts of crazy shit you gotta wade through there.

I like to hear what the other side is talking about and figuring out if it is true and how much is being distorted.

Other than that I like to read real books and apply that knowledge to the current stories, again to see how much is bull.

Thanks.
Rueteres has to be one of the best news sources in the world.
More FOX news lately, but mostly AM radio, and internet. BBC, bloomberg, "Reuters" are good for business news, and playboy is very informative :hump::hump::hump:

Today's FOX headline:
'Green Jobs Czar' Quits

Van Jones resigns amid uproar over past remarks and associations; White House says 'he was going to get in the way of the president' | VIDEO

Is there anything inaccurate, or bias about this FOX story Liberals? I don't think so, but the liberals seem hell-bent on discrediting FOX. Why is that?

FOX is owned by Rupert Murdoch who has no dog in the political fight, while NBC - MSNBC - CNBC (the business network) is owned by GE, who is a known terrorist sympathiser, and is in bed with the current administration. :cuss:

Which of these 2 men do you trust more?

Total: US$ $5,717,469 (2008)[1]PredecessorJack WelchSpouse(s)Andrea ImmeltChildren1Jeffrey Robert "Jeff" Immelt (born February 19, 1956, Cincinnati, OH) is the current chairman of the board and chief executive officer of the U.S. based conglomerate General Electric. He was selected by GE's Board of Directors in 2000 to replace John Francis Welch Jr. (Jack Welch) following his retirement. Previously, Immelt had headed up GE's Medical Systems division (now known as GE Healthcare) as its President and CEO.
Immelt holds an A.B. in Applied Mathematics from Dartmouth College where he currently serves on the board of trustees[2] and was president of his fraternity, Phi Delta Alpha, and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. He has been with GE since 1982 and is on the board of two non-profit organizations, one of which is the Robin Hood Foundation, a charitable organization which attempts to allieviate problems caused by poverty in New York City.
His tenure as Chairman and CEO started off on a low note - he took over the role on September 7, 2001 - just four days before the terrorist attacks on the United States, which killed two employees and cost GE's insurance business $600 million, as well as having an obvious direct effect on the company's Aircraft Engines sector.
Immelt was named to Time Magazine's Time 100 most influential people in the world in 2008.[3] In February, 2009, Immelt was appointed as a member to the President's Economic Recovery Advisory Board to provide the president and his administration with advice and counsel in fixing America's economic downturn. [4]. Under Mr Immelt General Electric has received large scale debt support from the United States government.[citation needed]
Recently, Immelt has been criticized by Fox News Channel's Bill O'Reilly for business transactions between GE and Iran, the country which has reportedly been attacking U.S. forces in Iraq.[5]. However, GE's website claims that they stopped doing business in Iran in 2005 (and finished all contracts by 2008). [6].
According to documents filed with the Federal Elections Commission, Immelt lives with his wife Andrea in New Canaan, Connecticut.

At this juncture in our history, I have come to the conclusion that lots of ppl don't want to know the truth. I bow out and leave them to themselves, where every event is a complete surprise.
