Where to store buds?

OK,My beauty is about ready for harvest and so I'm thinking of where I'm going to keep all that bud in the jars. I don't want to keep it in my house for family reasons. I was thinking of buying a small rectangular cooler and placing my buds in them and then burying the whole damn thing out in the woods somewhere. About three feet I was thinking. What do you all think about this. Is there a better way to store them outside away from the house?Thanks.

How are you going to dry them and cure them? They have to be burped every day for a while to cure. If you can get them through the curing process you're good for the winter even if you do have to bury them. Having said that, it would be much better if you can get them to a point of being perfectly cured and safe from mold/mildew then hide them up in your attic if you have one.

I was going to cure them for a month or so first, but I don't have an attic. No where in the house really to hide. Thoughts on burying them??

do you think the buds would stay ok nd not suffer temp damage if buried deep enough? we have mild winters here and hot summers.
