After years of using several different nutrient lines and organics, I use X Nutrients now. I make it even more simple than what it is intended. I use my 30-30-30 soil mix(30% Coco 30% potting soil I sift myself, and 30% perlite and add a few organic beneficials). I do not need the grow part during veg, a bit of Amino and a bit of Micro to push it a little. I tweeked the feeding schedule b/c I never go by them anyway, they are either way too hot or way too weak IMHO.

A member here has said only kids use X Nutrients, and I take by his immature behavoir he is a kid himself, at my age, anyone under 35 is a kid to me. I use it for obvious reasons as stated below.

It is affordable and produces the same results or better than most higher priced lines. I have ran H&G, GH, GO, AN(LOL), Technaflora(my 2nd choice), Roots Organics, Fox Farm(LOL), Botanicare, Humboldt(both organic and synthetic), and several organic mixes and teas. Bottom line, it works and is affordable. I have had slightly better results with Humboldt and H&G, however not to justify paying almost 3X what X costs. Honestly, if you are a serious grower and know your plants, any line will work if used properly. Soil and nutrients do not kill plants, growers do; just as soils and nutrients do not increase yields, growers and experience do. I have ran all these side by side with other lines and IMHO when the better results only produce a gm or 2 difference, it does not justify cost. IMO, find what works for you, but learn the basics of growing and learn the plant before blaming or giving credit to nutrients and soil mixes.

House and Garden Coco FTW!(like said previously). Actually fairly cheap considering how condensed their nutrients are. For Coco I won't ever use a different Base nutrients. The Collective I worked at used a buttload of AN products then about 6 months of me working there and seeing my product of the same strains they switched over. I can officially say for me and the place I worked we had better results with H&G then Advanced. I know most people won't believe my opinion but House and Garden has proven to me to produce a much better quality product than AN with very similar yields. No matter what line I use Roots Excelurator will always be a part of my nutrient line up. IMO is the best product out there. Wish people were more detailed in here this could be very informative.

Dyna-Gro, and also trying Canna Substra in my HPA drain to waste setup. Dyna has been a great nute for years, and now the Canna seems perfect for DTW- although I intend to test the Dyna in the chamber as well. I do not use any other bottles of crap except some silica. Use a complete nute, don't need anything else is my opinion (or Homebrewer's that I agree with). I tried Dutchmaster and a few bottles of junk, and for all the money I spent, I felt I was getting worse results. Perhaps I wasn't used to all the products, but again the Dyna worked great even my first time with no experience- so there's something to be said for simplicity.

How is cutting edge? The person that got me on House and Garden gave it a couple runs then switched back but never saw any of the product or really heard much about it. It is the store I go to so hard to talk about it with how busy they are lately. If people in Cali live in a town without a Hydro store I strongly recommend you opening one. That business will make you a killing. Here in Norcal they all thrive anyway.
