Which intake fan & filter

So my grow space is a 6x2x8 closet totaling 96cuft. Ambient room temp is 66-70 always.

I am curious as to which direction to go with fan and filter. I understand bigger fans typically will be quieter slowed down and stealth is important to me.

Looking at a the hyperfan and hyperfan stealth. In your expert opinions do you believe that it really would cut sound down dramatically? Couldn’t I just make my own or would it not perform the same?

Lastly do I go with the 6” which I believe is 340cfm or the 8” at 710cfm and turn it down?
Either one will be ran to a phresh filter. If I go with 6” fan should I still get oversized 8 filter or not?

Not lookin to spend more than needed and be a newbie do not want to overreach for unessary upgrades. Thanks

I use an 8" with carbon on a 2x4x7' tent. It's adjusted to high low. It's not quite. I installed mine in the attic and covered it to muzzle the constant whoosh sound.

I had a 6" before the 8" inline blower. I'd open things up and get a stagnant smell in the grow space. The 6" with carbon ran at full speed. The 8" is about 1/3 louder then the 6".
