Which Microscope for trichomes?

Hey Guys and Gals,

I was looking for a microscope to tell the stages of the trichomes that i am at.
Nothing over $50 (Funds are low, low) and i only founda couple and was wondering do you have any suggestions before i buy?

I saw a $20 version (mostly black with led) and then the $40 one with usb

i didn't want to end up having a piece of garbage, and i know i can come here for your accredited info.

Radioshack has a 60x-100x with a built in light (2x AAA batts). Only 12 bucks!

yeah just went to RS and looked they had the 60-100x just put batteries in and fired it up .. looks good thanx

I love the stuff from Hong Kong and Korea on ebay, its like more expensive stuff that does the same thing but it lacks the brand integrity. Either way the stuff works and its cheap but its sending money outside of the country so idk

The Radio Shack scope works great for cutting a bud off a plant and then going and sitting down at a table and looking at the trichomes. For looking at the trichomes without cutting it off the plant a 30x jewelers loupe works great, primarily due to its MUCH smaller size and ability to focus in on areas that the larger awkward shaped Radio Shack scope cant.

The 10x is great for looking at pre-flowers.

get a jewlers loupe that is 30x instead of a microscope.
