Which water filter should I get?

I've been making a lot of teas lately and it's getting to be a pain in the ass to go out and buy the water. On average, between both rooms, I'm using 10G per week just for teas.

I'd prefer not to waste water with R/O nor do I have the storage space for a reservoir.

Suggestions? Help?

EDIT: I would have storage space for a water reseviour as long as it's no bigger than 5G.

Had the exact same problem. Solved it by using a combo of dehumidifier water and collected rain. Dehuey water is basically like using distilled and it's devoid of macros so you may need to add an organic cal mag like I do. Sometimes if it is very dry I may have to still go to Walmart for their RO but i have been lucky so far this year. Last year there was a lengthy drought up here but ever since it broke I have not needed to fill any jugs. I keep the dehumidifier water stored in buckets; usually collect way more than I can store so I end up dumping it on house plants or the outdoor garden. Rain is the best though and it needs nothing added; already contains macros and microbial life.

Thank you sir. I thought about the rain barrels actually since that is the most economical. And I do use the dehuey water but it's not enough for teas. I was hoping to install something that could be used for all watering of the ladies.

I thought about a filter also; probably a portable RO system from Amazon I think I while back I seen one for $70. But I ended up placing a tarp up in the air about 6' using my garden fence, then place one small cut in the middle. Been collecting rain water now. On dry months, I do have to then either use tap or go and buy some distilled or spring water, I test the spring water if its bellow 30 ppm then I figure its probably OK. One example :

Does anyone use Humic Acid to "neutralize" the chloramines? Is tap water that damaging to beneficial microbes in our soil and teas?
