Which will produce more?

You have two DWC set ups in the same room, same temp, same humidity, running off the same rez with the same lights. They are also clones off the same plant. If one of the set ups contains 4 plants that you will harvest at 7" and the other one has a plant that will be harvested at 28" which will produce more or will they be equal?

Single big, bushy plant Vs. many smaller bushy plants. What do you think is better regarding yield or is it even possible to tell?

I bet the one plant will have bigger and better buds, but the little plants might outyield it.

thats why there is SOG. the one big plant will yield alot of weed but there will be a difference in the smoke from the top of the plant to the bottem. small plants are strictly the tops. SOG will yield more choice nugz, but i wouldnt know about the overall weight. as someone stated try it and post your results

I might do that although at the moment I restricted to stealth. Would 4 7" plants still produce a decent yield (under the best conditions) for that particular strain? Anyone here keep plants small?

depends on the strain. some are better with sog, scrog, topping, or fimming. just know about your strains.

any strain is a good candidate for SOG. 4 small plants will cover an area of about 1 sqft. under choice conditions, depending on the strain, one could yield a 1/4oz a plant or 1oz a plant. i would suggest a BOG setup https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/7523-barrel-green.html
