While topping my plant i cut a whole leaf off? is my plant going to recover?

ok, yeah after i snipped the leaf off on the first one i pinched the rest first time grow :p thank's for all the support and advice guys.

The plant will b fine just leave it b for a while now it should show tops in about a week or so but they look healthy so far

depends on the skill of the grower I could have top a few of my plants 3 days in veg but I like to keep them all the same height and size so I topped them 5 days in veg someone else may take a few week before topping

What you're wanting to top is the little cabbage looking ball at the very top of your plant or branch. Probably not the best description but it sorta reminds me of a head of cabbage or lettuce lol. U did just fine but next time kinda just use your fingers and pluck it off. If you top early like u did you will more than likely have a shorter plant.

Its all good. I've topped them at the first node young. They grew in a y shape and looked like two independent plants.

as a grower you control the hight and shape of the plant, think of it more as training a bonsi tree till its ready for flower,
over time you will understand how the plants react to light, nutes and trainning ect
take the topped plant with one leaf
this will become the domant shoot and grow 3 times quicker than the rest so it will look like the plant has not been topped in 2-3 weeks time

depending on the strain, but most plants will grow 3 times the size in flower, mine have grown about 5 times the size in flower

24 hrs later and cant say im really impressed with pinching. maybe i pinched to hard . i went 80% down into the bulk of the new growth , and gave it a moderate to hard pinch.i see a new shoot forming on one side , pinched growth looks like its either drying up and dying or trying to rejuvenate and open. i muste say usually after topping (although it causes more stress) i would have been showing new growth on both sides by now
