My outdoor plant has begun flowering with the female parts showing but no definite buds yet...I am not entirely sure how long it has been since flowering started. Anyways there are these weird white blotches on my plant that do not wipe off easily and are not fuzzy so I do not believe that it is PM. They are also not small dots so I am led to believe that it is not spider mites. I could be wrong however. Sorry that the pics are not the best quality but any information would help. I think it might just be a nutrient problem

nikk can the mites be seen with the naked eye? I don't think it is mildew it doesn't smell mildewey and isn't fuzzy or wipe off

It looks like something that was wet, then dried, and left a residue. Have you sprayed anything on them ? You say, it doesn't wipe off easily. So I assume it does wipe off. try wetting it. Then wipe it off. I personally haven't seen any harmful issues that look like that. Maybe someone else has. I wouldn't worry about it. Unless bad things start happening. It looks to me like something dripped on them or something like that.

thanks for the post 91gt347. The plant seems fine, looks good and is still budding. If it wet it and wipe it off it isn't visible but reappears when dried, just not as concentrated I guess you could say. That is why I believe it is some residue and not mildew. I haven't used any sprays or anything just an extended plant feeder soil. I also mixed in a little charcoal with the soil for carbon retention and when it entered the flowering stage I added a few orange peels a couple inches down.

I encountered something similar to this yesterday when hitting the spot; was in
a seemingly shady spot. However, I was able to wipe it off, but what bothers
me most is that it was also on the stem. I foliar feed several days earlier though,
but the *shite* looks like confectionary shhhhugggar, ouch does not look good.
I am going to hit it with streptomyces lydicus with an elevated PH before the
sun goes down. Also, I made the mistake of putting DE in my mix and this brought
the creatures to the party...1---2---3---Dial the problems. These babies are in
the first/second week flower...pistils appeared on July 30, the started picking up
August 10; exactly 60 days after coming up from germination, above ground
that is...
