Just started to flower using dwc and I've put the technaflowera nutes in my system. Are the new flowering nutes the white small flakes ??

yeah technaflora... Almost looks like flakes of dead skin.. I thought it might be from the flowering nutes, like awesome blossom, etc... ??? Plant is thriving anyway.

Ok i have seen this its not a good sign, dum everything and clean out your bucket and start over, to stop this
start using aquashield at 4ml per gal. Add every three days. Its super cheap and will keep the bad bactiria in
check.

Agree, dump everything. Be meticulous in cleaning all your gear. Soak it in bleach even. Clean your grow area with bleach too.

Pay particular attention to your pump and all the little nooks and crevices in your bucket & res.

Throw out your hoses and air stones, get new ones.

Good luck.

bacteria would be slimy as it is alive, salt build up is dry and flaky and probably has some lime to it as well, check your water as thats the most common source of buildup, may need to use filtered water or get a water softener in your system somehow.

I've seen white flakes caused by using hard water....especially if you are using pumps. Just my opinion. I've had this when pumps were no sterilized thoroughly.

Well hes in dwc so theres no pumps just air stones, these small white flakes will continue to get bigger and bigger till
its a blob. Yes there is a chance its calcium but my moneys not on that

It's probally salt build up. Roots are HUGE and WHITE though. What can I do for this salt build up ????

Also water out of the faucet I use is around a ppm of 140.

Do you have dandruff? Run your fingers through your hair and massage your scalp. Do flakes come falling down?
