white fuzzy shit in the center of buds

Went to harvest and found some of my buds has some white fuzzy mold in the center of them. It's really only in the main cola on the hugest of the plants, but not on the side colas at all. Does anyone know if that means its through out the plant and garbage now or can I still use the parts that don't have mold on them? Either way a fuck load is wasted but it'd be nice if I could salvage some of it :cuss:

make some oil or something from it, if its already on the insides im sure its filled the rest up with spores by now, so even if you dont see it yet they are contaminated.

Thats what I thought you would say :( I left the whole infected plants in the grow area and took everything else out, if I see even a little bit I'm tossing the whole plant out. I'll look into the butane thing but last I checked that shit was pretty dangerous to make. Thanks for replying

So do strains actually have a natural defense to mold like the breeders advertise on some of their strains? I always thought that was just BS marketing until now. Reason I ask is, the only plants that are affected by this F'in mold were the sensi hash plant, I had just as big if not bigger serious seeds white russian that so far seem to be clean (knock on wood)

So my hydro store guy told me an ozone generator might help this situation, anybody agree or disagree? I suppose the rays kill the mold as it passes through it might work, assuming it can keep up with the air volume of the room.

There's nothing you ca ndo about the plants that are already infected. But for your next grow you need to get a dehumidifier, more air circulation and keep the exhaust fan on 24/7.

sulphur burners are the business... it kills the spores released by the disease and stop it from showing on the plant. It may take more than one application.

In victorian times they used to use Sulphur burners to fumigate homes after people had died from the plague and things like that.

Once the plant has it though, the disease is inside it and given the right conditions it will manifest itself and start reproducing so as to infect other plants.

some strains have immunity... like my SuperPower has immunity to PM, Hijack has immunity to PM also.

did u use something for bugs during flowering? it could b bud rott.in some cases ive heard microwaving will stop mold from growing through rest of bud(i would do some research on that)
