So this is my first grow, I started with 8 plants from seed, two were female. I tossed the males and have been flowering for eoughly 3 weeks. I have 2 68 watt cfls, 2700k, 4 42 watt cfls 2700k and 2 26watt 6500k bulbs. One of the girlsis tall with white hairs growing but not really lookin like buds, and the other is shorter, stockier, but looks like she is forming bud. Whats the deal. Bad genetics?

Cool, I wanted to post pics but couldnt figure out how. How do I do it. Also I was wondering if I had enough lights.

Pictures would help; but vilify is right, if it's lanky and tall, probably just a sativa. Also, is it 3 weeks since 12/12 started? Or 3 weeks since hairs showed up? Most of the reason you got alot of views, and 2 responses, is because you didn't include much info at all. No pics of your setup, no nute info, medium, temps, humidity, or strain listed. To be honest, you didn't give us much to work with.

Edit: I posted before your response. Where are your pics? On your computer? photobucket?

Yeah it does seem a little slow, but not by too much. My plants are currently almost 7 weeks from when i switch to 12/12. They didn't start showing anything that remotely looked like buds until day 31 or so.

yea we need more info

pics, what your feeding, how are the lights? on/off cycle? ph? strain?

i dont know if you can upload pics directly from phone, but im sure you can if you hook the phone up to your pc and access it there

tips: banana tea (check my organic link below) + lots of micro nutes + 1/4th strength grow nutes, 3/4 strength bloom nutes, never let ph vary outside 6.5-7 (soil), turn the lights to a cycle of 11on/13off, add more lights.

With cfls it takes longer cause the plants arent getting as much light as a hid that could be part of the prob genetics could play a factor how far away your lights from the plants could be playing a factor what there growing in all that factors in temps humidity all that to get a good accurate answer.

The one sativa looking plant is about 2 feet, the lights are within inches surrounding them. The other which I think is indica is about a foot and a half. . Not sure the ph. Im using super bloom nutes, 10-55-15 I think. I use it at half strength. The soil is an organic blend with a ph of 6.8, I called manufacturer prior to purchasing.

After less than 24hrs I can clearly see a huge amount of growth. Both seem to be forming into what looks to be buds. I wish I could safely upload pics from my phone...

I currently have one plant under 25,000 lumens using cfl's. I'm 3 1/2 weeks into flower using flora nova bloom alone and the plant has bud growing everywhere. Strain might be a factor, but I would add more light as well. Wish I could throw up pics from my phone.

If you have a cable that can connect your phone to your computer then yes, you can upload pics from your phone, that's what i do! Once it's plugged in, go to the manage attachments tab, and when you click upload files, find your phone (it will probably be listed as a MSD (media storage device) or a drive) and click on pics you want to upload! Very simple, just gotta have that cable...

I'll try and hook up to a cpu. Id love some feed back from people who have seen the stages first hand. Theres bud sites or flowers all over both plants so I think they just need more time. The indica dom plant actually appears to have its main cola forming with sacks where seeds would be, luckily I caught all the males and discarded them. Im hoping they produce. Id be happy with a total oz from the 2. It looks possible.
