I have 3 clones growing outdoors, and when I went to check on them today I noticed that all 3 had some small white hairs on their nodes. Is it normal for there to be white hairs during vegging or are they switching to flowering? They get direct sunlight in the early morning, but by the afternoon the sun has already passed over them and they're in the shade the rest of the day.

its because it is a clone from a mature plant everything looks fine

Yeah once a plant reaches maturity it will show hairs. This is best done in veg then flip to flower.
