Don't panic the white hairs will turn red, its absolutely normal and a sign of the plant maturing, how far into flowering are you?
Nute burn will show in the leaves not the trics.

Sounds like our doing ok. A few spots of burn on the leafs wont hurt as long as it don't get worse. I always manage to burn my plants a bit, to eager to up the dosage of nutrients, don't think I will ever learn my lesson. What I think is the most important thing is to make sure your PH is correct. If this isn't right you cant diagnose a problem, monitor your PH well and you wont go far wrong.

About 5.5 ph for hydro and I think about 6.8 ph for soil (not grown in soil for a long time now so double check)
