Because there wasn't enough proof to convict in the eyes of the jury; That's how our legal system works...

The treaty is not legally binding to the US unless our Congress approves of it and passes it- which has not happened yet. It protects our sovereignty as a nation.

I just think it's strange how were not at war with Libya and we continue to celebrate our victory in Iraq from the war we never fought their but won 8 years ago and the ongoing war terror that again is not a war in Packistan and Afganistan and police are shooting people and our country is being invaded and They interviened to stay this guys exicution? This guy probably should have never been tried or gone to waste our money in prison, If Gun laws and rights were as they should be he could have gotten a bullet in his ass under the constitution upon commision of his crime and saved us all a lot of trouble.

I am against water boarding for the most part, I believe it is ineffective at this point, they are prepared for that now they know it is a technique we use they might even train to endure it now. I am infavor of more extreme measures like the use of massive doses of LSD and Marasa and Audio and Visual stimulis as well as electro shock and sleep depravation and simulated drowning and food depravation.

If you torcher (SUSPECTED) terrorists, you can torcher Americans. The other added detail to this is that none of those torchered 'terrorists' have ever seen a court room. Effectiveness is completely irrelevant.

I was locked up in Tijuana long ago whilst in the USAF...had to pay 275 bucks to get out ..dumb ass me could have gave the police 50 bucks on the street, but hey I was trying to argue my rights...lesson learned that day...STFU and pay....worst jails ever!!!!!!

Then you dont have a clue as to what goes on in those facilities...
