Nice man! Cant wait to see when you chop Im thinkin I might chop around the 2nd or so. Is tht JH Indica?
Gonna chop the herer and hash plant on the 1st,2nd or 3rd I'm thinking, whenever it looks done.

Jack Herer is mostly sativa but get's fat buds like and indica. has a really good sativa/indica high though.

From sensi seeds

"Three of Jack’s four main phenotypes are heavily Sativa-influenced while the fourth has a growth pattern leaning towards Indica - fast-flowering and relatively compact with a dense, expansive, rounded bud structure that’s suited to cash-cropping. Jack’s Sativa phenotypes can also produce a good per-metre or per-plant yield when cultivated skilfully, though it is rare for these crops to be sold commercially. Most growers who have watched their succulent, super-sized calyxes swell and mature will be hesitant to sell such buds, and the best Jack Herer is often passed around a select circle of friends - an example of one of those things that money just can’t buy."

Anyways, here's the video I uploaded. youtube is still doing the audio swap so no music on it yet..

I think you are misunderstanding me? it isnt a pure sativa. it has indica traits too, such as the short flowering. that's why It's such a cool strain. flowers like and indica even though it's mostly sativa. if you look at the first plant in my video the purple elephant/satori still has over a month to go. at least. same with the lavender/satori. Satori is a pure sativa I believe, maybe a little indica, lavender is heavy indica and those plants are still far behind.

That's just how it goes when your breeding, some strains will dominate more and some pheno's will too. If you ever get a chance to grow Jack Herer I would definitely recommend it!

No it doesn't and this has nothing to do with my thread. it's over 100º here. cold temps bring out any purple genes a plant has (colorwise) and usually stunts the plant. most plants from the mountains are super crystally but way smaller than ones from down here in the valley.

Are you gonna back cross the Lavender/Satori back to the PE and try and lower the flowering time?
No, the purple elephant has a pretty long flowering time too. I wish I could back cross it to lavender and to satori and have 2 new hybrids that owould be 75%satori/25%lavender and 75%lavender/25%satori. it would be really cool to see them side by side and look at the differences...

Right now I have two seperate hybrids

Lavender/Satori

and

Purple elephant/Satori

I don't plan on back-crossing them to anything this year because I still have tons of seeds. I think I will just backcross them to satori though since I have one seed left from mandala.

I wanted to use the cali orange males but accidentally killed them all, I also killed all the males from my satori mix's just recently when everything started flowering because even though I love experimenting I am too broke to risk ANY pollen fucking up my sinsemilla and therefor my pay check...

thinking about crossing them with the super silver haze pollen I'm getting from a homie cause I know that its pure and is a VERY tasty sativa. that cross would just be personal smoke for me probably though.

Just found out my friend whose garden I posted before has mothers of all his 30 diff strains. I'm so stoked cause they are all 100% legit and driven here strait from humboldt. now I have so many strain to play with, I don't know what to do!

So stoked he has casey jones (trainwreck x NYC Diesel) two of my fav strains and I have never gotten to taste them together. I wish I could backcross it to my lime trainwreck but they are both clones and I don't believe in fem seeds so oh well. I guess I will just cross everything with super silver haze or satori

Can't wait to get my indoor up and running odbsmydog. Once I get it dialed in like I want it, I am going to start playing "mad scientist" myself. I have a ton to learn, and looking forward to it.

Yeah, shit's fun.

odb- im sure you covered it but what are you using to feed? those plants are extremely healthy in both the ground and pots!
I used a little alaska fish emulsion for veg and a little age old and amino aid and vermi tea a homie that works at the hydro shop gave me. don't know how much that stuff did though as I tilled a lot of ammendments into the soil at the beginning of the season. I used about a half a gallon of age old bloom and two small jars of molasses for bloom because there was plenty of P and K in the soil. I also throw all my eggshells in my garden..

The plant that I let get somewhat dehydrated the other day is now yellowing at the leaves. kinda weird. maybes that's why some people's yellow off so much. I've never had a problem with leaves yellowing during flower so I'm not tripping on it. kinda makes the garden look shitty though!

Here are some pics from this evening. finally got the pup to eat after I BBQed up some chicken to get him hungry from smelling it. still had to hand feed him though cause he seems to want to be babied, lol.

It was also rad that a friend came over and brought me a 6 pack and a sack to get me through the next couple days since I can't leave the house. gotta love having good homies.

I will organize them tomorrow. out to the tent I go, goodnight all!

odb- trust me those yellow leaves dont make your garden look bad at all. just shows that the plants are using up the last stored up supplies in those leaves to finish up. i thought yellowing is just part of the process as the plants finishes. nice to have some good friends!!

Yeah, but I prefer to have them all a nice green up until harvest. If I wouldn't of let it dry out it wouldn't of started turning yellow, all the other plants are fine cause the spot where the yellowing one is always dry's out the fastest.

Yeah my homie kicked down 2 types of herb and then his pops kicked down another kind and some pressed kief. weird cause they usually have bubble hash but it's probably cause it's so late in the year and everyones out. Good to have good friends you've known for 10+ years..

Checking out your thread now ;)

Beautiful grow!

Your back yard looks like a slice of heaven!

Old friends are the best friends.

Nice dog! How old?

My cat is my constant companion. He's 8. Found him on a job site in the middle of nowhere when he was half grown.
