Hey guys, ive built a multisite aeroponic bucket cloner and am having issues with clones not rooting.

Varrious strains, tangerine dream, blue cheese, chemdog, white widow and ssh.

Ph'd tap water 5.8
clonex solution half strength
2ml hydrogen peroxide (20L bucket)
PPM 700
water temp 70f (20c)

its been 14 days, now there is a white mucous/slime developing on stems?

i must admit i forgot to flush the mothers prior to taking cuttings, but i have misting every other day to try leach the N out.

The clones still look green and healthy?

Any ideas? am i just being impatient?

thanks!

H2O2 Brother/Sis. Hydrogen Peroxide clean's out the slime's and goo a couple of tsp in your rez and it will be gone. Try and make a habit of it, wont hurt the plant if anything it help's because of the second Oxygen Atom.

thanks man! (brother by the way) so can i add more h202? will the clones root eventually? or do i need to start over?

Truth, I have always rooted my cutting's the old way. Without a pic I would be speculating but the peroxide wont hurt the rooting, how long have they been in the cloner? You aren't misting them are you? If you mist them they wont root as fast.

theyve been 14 days, misting every other day, il stop now then, ive had 100% success with rapid rooters and clonex, just wanted to give aero a go.

its turning out to be a pain in the ass!

My guess is that your droplets are too big, choking the roots. I came across an article about this very recently I wish I remember where, if I find it I'll post it. Peroxide will keep the problem at bay, but it won't solve it, it will always be a battle unless you cut the source of the problem, which the article identified as oversaturation.

Time lapse:

Found the link: it is one of these forum threads from RIU. https://www.rollitup.org/dwc-bubbleponics/361430-dwc-root-slime-cure-aka.html

Lots of info to chew on

I'm using turbo klone replacement misters, and a decent pump, these misters seem to spray rather than mist which I found a bit strange, do u think I could try rooting the clones in rapid rooters after so long in the cloner?

Man just keep it simple. I run just plain tap water in my 120 clone site with the pump running 24/7. Just make sure your humidity and temp and water temps are in check and you should be fine.

Some strains root faster than others. Most time they should start popping roots (white little pimples)within 7-10 days. I had some og kush #18 a while back wich took forever to root.
