White widow in Canada

So here a picture of my 1 white widow girl started from seed, shes in week 5 of flowering. I force flowered her for 3 weeks indoors because of the short growing season where I am in Canada. The buds are pretty purple because of the temperature drop at night, it gets to about 10 Celsius every night here. Shes already sticky enough that I had to pick some bugs off of her. I have a grow journal of her that I've never posted, because my computer only has dial up and never finishes uploading pictures.
Anyone else growing white widow? I also wanna hear from some fellow Canuck growers, how are your grows doing, we've had a crazy summer.

That looks so good right now
Im all new to this but what do you mean you forced flowered?
Force flowering means to introduce your plants to 12 hours light 12 hours darkness or whatever time you use to flower your plants.
So I put my plant in a grow box and set the lights on a timer to run for 12 hours and be dark for 12 hours, while outdoors there was still 16 hours of light. So when I planted them outside they still continued to flower.

It gives me an advantage because white widow takes almost 3 months to finish flowering, and my plants don't start flowering until mid August where I live, and our first frost is usually September 15th so my plants don't have nearly enough time to finish flowering.

Yeah the weathers been the shits big time, BC is crazy hot and dry this year, Ontario is cold and raining constantly.

I've never force flowered while they were planted outside, because that would be a bitch to do. Driving to my grow spot everyday at the same time, covering and uncovering it for 3 weeks with a garbage can or something.

I have though just left them outside in pots and brought them inside a closet for 3 weeks, but it's still a bitch because you have to get home on your plants schedule daily.

If you get some pictures of your girls gladly post em. :peace:

damn looks good bro ...how tall is she?
Thanks, I think she is going on 3 feet pretty soon, she's still got about 7 weeks of flowering I can't wait to see how she turns out!

I've never grown white widow successfully outside before, so I'm hoping the bud pays off for 12 weeks of flowering.

they aren't getting enough light..... if it rains a bunch they may mold

and the temperature is causing stunted flower growth...

sorry dude thats growing them.....

Their getting enough light probably 7 hours direct, I had to chop a bunch of dead trees down to get it to that.

And this is the first week of full sun I've had here, for 2 weeks it was cloudy and rainy off and on.

The temperature drops down at night, but heats up to about 80 almost every day.

I don't think their going to mold it's extremely dry here most the time, and rarely rains in August.

seems like the weather fucked you over.......
is that your only plant?
from what you wrote everything should look great (accept the two weeks of bad weather)
maybe its just the picture quality???

Yeah it's my only plant this year, I didn't have a mother plant indoors to take clones off, So I had to start from seed which I hate. One turned out a male :(

Yeah the nights here get pretty cold sometimes in the high 40s (F).

I'll take a picture of her probably this weekend.

Thanks

Atlantic Canada is shit as well...maybe even worse. ye i was thinkin bout doin it (force flowering) but im 100k back in the bush so f'ck that. Until i get an automated system....:joint:....I would post pics of my girls but cant put them on my computer yet for security purposes. They are camera-phone anyway, just for my personal progress reports (hey, thats why i bought the phone)..had a 5-0 scare this morning actually..goin to the gas station before work sittin in the car countin my money...piggy pulls up horizontally next to me just watches me..i pull out, he pulls out..followed me to the driveway, but it wasnt MY houses driveway:twisted:.

dont mean to jack yer post bro but speaking of my girls i need to vent, maybe you all can lend a hand here..went for a feeding visit last night and my f'ckin heart lept when i saw one of my Angel D. toppled over. Fuck this was a 3.5ft BUSH, almost 1 sq m in total diameter...examined the maristem (which was THICK) right at its exit from the soil and noticed all these little termite like tiny holes in and out of it, with these tiny black bugs runnin around em..other than that, we just had an intense rainfall for about half a day, preceeded by 2 hot days of sun ..no tracks..- dont know what caused this.

The others are doin well..got some good photos on a 3 mpixel ill put up soon...best of luck with this weather man!!

Sorry to hear about your plant man. All I can think is to get some sort of spray, I'm not familiar with the bugs out east but I'm sure if you asked some locals with gardens they could tell ya what the little bastards are and how to treat em.
