white widow question!!!!!

when growing w/widow do i still wait for 75% of the hairs to go red or brown, been flowering for about 6 weeks and all hairs are mainley white. is this why its called white widow????

white widow is like a 10 week strain. wait for the trics to turn cloudy/amber. i harvested mine when they were cloudy.

the hairs will darken up when it comes closer to harvest

The white is not from the hair's it's from the crystals. I guess the idea is you let it go an extra 2 weeks to while the chrystals grow.

The WW I am growing had hairs that were brown about 3-4 weeks into flower. You really need to check the trich's in order to check for ripeness. I am now 7 weeks into flower and the crystals are so noticeable you don't need a scope to see them. Hell, the seeds were covered in crystals! :shock: I have never grown a strain that had so many crystals. Last night, I was tending to some plants in the back of my closet and when I brushed by the WW, my arms and hands were all sticky. It is amazing the amount of resin this plat produces.
