Greetings Shawryboy. I'm all subbed for your WW/Vipar grow. I've got a A300 and I've had it for just a little while now. I'm still tweaking the height/footprint and it will be nice to see how other people are using their A300s, like how high you're keeping your panel, things like that. Vipars/A300 are a little rarer on this side of the Atlantic than yours it seems. With the exception of 2 journals I know of offhand around here there doesn't seem to be a lot of practical knowledge about them, except from my experience that if you mod them, (remove the glass), you can drop your tent temperature a bit :).

Best of Luck With Your Journal and Happy Growing!

Plants look amazing dude, i've always loved the way they look under led lights..

btw, 48 hour blackout before switch to 12/12? Never heard of this, what's the benifit of that? jw
ive heard that putting them into a blackout for 24-48 hours helps force them into flowering

thanks for subbing alex i just hope i do anywhere near a good job as ive seen you do with these lights!!

update time,

just finished week 1 of flowering & they have certainly bushed up quite a bit & can see the start of some whiskers just starting to form, also have a bit of dis-colouring on some of the lower leaves on one or two of the plants.. any ideas what causes this? is it over or under watering or probly nute burn?

My setup was completely different....but in a 5gallon bucket with about 300W I got just under 5oz off of one plant dried...HUGE buds from this strain!!! Looking good!!!

Well if you were to look at it like this, that WW should be a good yielder regardless of version and BB/BB strains are great to excellent yielders, so without trying to pull a number out of my ass you seem to be set for at least a good yield. I read a post that said that there is some recessive gene in BB that supposedly is responsible for the massive colas some people grow with BB genetics. Don't know how true that story truly is, but just pray for one of those phenotypes in one of your ladies. And great roots should = great buds so.......

Good Luck!

update time again!! i gave the ladies a bit of a trim today as the light wasnt getting to all bud sites so ive cut off most of the big fan leaves & got rid of the lower small branches to hopefully give the main colars a boost, ive also upped my feeding pattern to 8 times a day, im hoping this is going to make them lovely buds juice up massive now!! fingers crossed!!

Hey shawryboy what's happening brotha! Man your plants are looking great , good work man. Wondering how high you got those panels above your babies? Looks like you could drop em down just a bit and this might help with plumping up those buds in late flower here. At weeks 5-8 I had my A300's about 12 inches or so above the tops of my plant. Looking really good though man top notch work!
