Well I was on here when the mmar was alive and well and for The switch to the mmpr. And you are correct a normal mmar could have applied but they made it so you had to have ridiculous amounts of money to get it off the ground thus making a lp licence unattainable to the average person unless you had political or police connections just my two cents

Exactly my point.

At one time I toyed with the idea of becoming an LP. At that point all you needed was the plan and layout and sops
It was not rocket science, but everday life caught up to me.

Seprate question @legalcanada How long have you been on the program.

Was it hard for you to get on the program...

What is your conviction.

exactly....
I think once the reality set in....about who they would let into the little group...most of us old MMAR people... realized we had been basically
disqualified...from participating....with the ever changing requirements...as they made them up on the fly...
The couple of MMAR designated growers....that did manage to get into the game....where the same ones, who were known for back dooring product
from the DG set ups...and to pay themselves, with their excess grown medicine.
They are also the ones,who first spoke out about all the diversion....that was supposedly going on from the MMAR licences.. Of course they Knew for the most part it was not true...except for growers such as themselves, supplying the early dispensaries...

I have often wondered ... if it was not for the high priced lawyers.... they had hired to get them into the LP game...
How could these same people pass a security clearance....considering the black/grey market businesses the were part of...
and well known to be part of.?????????????????
