Whites racist against whites?

That's seriously fucking stupid.
Not necessarily. The original people from England and their descendants very much looked down upon early 20th century European immigrants for decades. And they sure as hell looked down on black people by rating them as 3/5 of a person. And their idea of religious freedom revolved around Catholic and Protestant, select one.

And these were the so called 'founding fathers'?

Immigration made this country. The founding fathers would be in prison under modern law.

They owned slaves, orchestrated a genocidal slaughter of the native people, and frequently shot each other.
I don't look up to them at all.

That's not racism; sure it's xenophobia and bigotry but the distinction between words is important.

Just cos Trump is President doesn't mean we have to totally let go of intelligence.

That I can agree with.

More people voted against Clinton than voted for her is also true.
Statistically incorrect, but your meaning is crystal clear.

Last night at a rally in Miami, Tom Perez and Bernie Sanders were in attendance when someone stepped up to the mic and said, "Bernie would've won!"

The crowd went wild and started chanting it until the DJ drowned them out!

The Democrats got some 'splaining to do!

This election was horrible. Two completely unappealing candidates with far better ones left behind.

I'm thinking of writing in Ann Richards dead body(I'm in Texas, they will have to accept it) or Kinky Friedman. I'm not sure why he thinks Trump isn't corrupt, as he most certainly is in some form or fashion, but damn he's pretty funny.

I like this quote from him:

I’m not here to lecture Jews. They can vote for anybody they want, if they want to be Democrats, let ’em be Democrats. But the people that are going around calling themselves Democrats aren’t really Democrats, that’s kind of my point. [Senate Minority Leader] Harry Reid, [former White House chief of staff and current Chicago Mayor] Rahm Emanuel, Obama, Kerry — they all think they’re Democrats. I used to be a Democrat, and now I’m not a Democrat. They’re not Democrats either, but they just don’t know it yet. Democrats are like [civil rights leader and former Texas congresswoman] Barbara Jordan. Like [former Texas governor] Ann Richards. Or [former president] Harry Truman. [Former US House speaker] Sam Rayburn. [Former governor of both Texas and Tennessee] Sam Houston. Those are Democrats, people who stand up for the people, independent thinkers. That used to be what a Democrat was.

The last election is what all elections after Citizen's United will look like until We the People rise up and demand representation of, by and for the People, as opposed to the Almighty Dollar.

I've been enjoying Kinky Friedman's work since I was a kid, great quote!
