Who else loves the feeling of alcohol as much as weed?

Just wondering, how many of you weed fans out there love the feeling of alcohol? just as much as the feeling of weed...?

Now I know they are considered apples and oranges, but the feeling of alky is just awesome. there's nothing better than being piss drunk at a party, till u start throwing up and throwing punches at random strangers.

anyone else?


(now I do like weed better of course, it doesn't give me the negative side effects of alky, but we are talking about the feeling here)

alchol and weed might be as good but no way is alchol better it makes people act like fools everytime i drink i make my self look like a prick one way or another lol

lol, I drink miller light, my friends call me "millertime" since my last name is miller.

but I drink & smoke, I'm still looking for a smoked product that rymes with miller.

not more then 2-3 shots of any thing mixed with coke (cola)
at that strength it feels like a weed high
any stronger i feel vulnerable
weed never puts me in a place were i feel like i nolonger have control

lots og great points from people. epsecially on the alcohol turning you into a dick or making you look like a dick. i've never woken up after an evening of smoking and think, "did i do that, oh god really" like i most normally do when drinking.

i find weed and certain alcohol together just work hand in hand, i can have some tokes, then a drink of stella, and suddenly that drink of stella hits me as if it were vodka

but i still prefere getting stoned. if i drink beer before 8pm i WILL fall asleep

I like beer with my weed because hops and cannabis are cousins, so they go good together :: , lol ... I drink harder shit but It will never top an ice cold brew and a blunt....Ahhhhh, life's simple pleasures.

well i was all about alk, i smoked very occasionally and couldnt understand wot ppl saw in being stoned, they are 2 totally different feelings for me.. But i think my tastes have matured and now i prefer the smoke.. alc was killing my brain cells cos i really drank proper for like, 12 years, since early teens..

In college I was a HEAVY binge drinker. Even then, I don't know if I ever "loved" the feeling of being drunk. It was more of a social thing / that is what you do in college. Since college my alcohol consumption has fallen to practically zero. Last year I drank maybe 12 beers and 5 mixed drinks (which I routinely did on a Friday night in college). I have beers that have been sitting untouched in the fridge since the Superbowl and a liquor cabinet that is full of bottles that are still sealed. I would rather a diet coke or iced tea at a bar.

That being said. I learned in college that there is something about getting high and drinking a beer or two that can be amazing. For me, the best high is what I call the trifecta; cannabis, 2 beers (for some reason I find Budweiser to be especially perfect - but craft beers are super tasty when high), and 1 Marlboro Red (must be a freshly opened pack). Now I don't like drinking and I hate smoking but the three "drugs" work together perfectly to create a perfect buzz.

Back to your original question. No I do not love the feeling of alcohol. I actually feel dirty when I am drunk and filthy the next day when I wake up. I do enjoy the occasional beer but that is for the taste and not the drugs effects. Cannabis is something that I love. I love the look, smell, taste, high. I love how a group of high people interact. I love how I experience life while high. It has given me insight into myself, showed me how to love, and has shaped me into a better person. Alcohol has given me sloppy unprotected sex with strangers, vomit, headaches, fights (both verbal and physical), and complete chunks of time missing from my brain.

If I drink first then smoke i'll vomit, if I smoke first then drink i'll have a fucking blast......weird

a very quick lesson for most smokers to learn i think. i am most people i know are exactly the same. pound down a good amount of drink and try smoking, you just barf. the way to do it is have a smoke for every drink, then you just get fuckarooood

drink on it's own, i'll need maybe 5-6 pints before i'm passing out, weed, i just don't, but weed n beer, 3 of each and i'm done for

(do americans have "pubs"? or are they just called bars?

Well I can say without a doubt that I enjoy cannabis ten-fold over alcohol. This coming from a recovering (I'm talking not even a week sober) alcoholic, but not just an alki, I absolutely love fine beers and bourbons/whiskeys. Gimme a nice Leffe, some Russian River Brewery Pliny the Younger, Chimay, or just a bottle of whiskey, and I'm set. Thing is, never seemed to be able to draw that line, didn't see a difference between drinking after school, or dropping a bottle of wine on my way to Entrepreneurship class, graduated Dean's list and all that and didn't get in any trouble (this had and still went on for 8 years or so). Bottle of whiskey a day, 12 pack of REAL beer no problem, totally fucks with your relationships, everything, and especially, you!

I might have said pretty goofy stuff when I was blazed out of my mind, but never anything as rude or ignorant as when I've been drunk. It's still good shit, I just gotta cool it, too each his own. That being said, it's 8:20 and I watched the sunrise over Table Mountain in Golden, CO, I've got a nice cup of organic coffee, think it's time to take some snaps of this beautiful Mendo Purps and stave off those cravings.

yeah i can smoke all i want and feel great the next day but drink all i want and not so good feeling plus weed dont make ya piss like racehorse

I love both.I just love weed more though.

Alcohol is a very dirty drug and you easily feel the toxicity... I used to work in the wine makeing industry in my younger days..... not proud of it.
I do have the occasional drink... but realy occasional... I didn't even drink at my own wedding....
