Who grows for the purpose of generating more seeds? Are there any guidelines i.e. when to harvest? Do you pull the seed pods of or kill the plant first? when are the seeds right to harvest?

I do seed runs now and then. You need to wait until they are brown and getting ready to fall out. You can then pull them out or wait for them to fall or you can just let the plant go and harvest as normal so long as they seeds are brown and popping out.

I cross pollinate, you need to pollinate the early forming buds, this will ensure that by harvest, the seeds sacs are partially open, with a big dark seeds emerging. Never chop down until the majority of seeds are visible. You could also wait until the seed gets pushed out, and collect them off the ground. But with multiple crosses, you will get them mixed up.

ok...how long it's going to take for seeds to be ready to germinate?
I had hermi and male plants, the males when i spotted them , i moved them out of the flower room and let them go for a week or 2 more in almost 24 hr light, and hung it for butter, and got all the seeds out and germinated some for my next grow within 1 week, and my hermies went till the harvest and got more seed out of them and also hve geminated a few about 2 weeks later with good results. and i think if you have a good strain a seed plant works for no spend next grow!

Ok, so let them pop naturally. Then dry them out in a cool dark place. Do you need to add anything to the container to aid the drying?
