I have heard of this SONIC BLOOM cd that you play to your plants and it opens their stigmartas (?) and makes them produce more bud sites and massive buds....it was around in the 80's and is apparently having a "come back"....has anyone used this product..? or knows anyone who has..?

Never heard of that. Sounds like somebody was really stoned. If that did work, that would be crazy!

Use it and love it. I started with the CD and downloaded the tracks on my iPod and bought a speaker dock then plugged it into the timer with the lights. Mix the Sonic Bloom nutrients 1 tablespoon per gallon, in that ratio. Use warm, filtered water at high pressure. I've found the Berkey shower filter is perfect for getting the chlorine out. Then I spray the underside of the leaves and they droop way down! Clones need a 1/2 strength solution until they are rooted and it can be used every other day but less for mature plants. The next day you will notice how perky your plants look and it looks like they had a growth spurt! Stop using 1 or 2 weeks before harvest because you probably don't want to taste it. Generation after generation will improve and you'll see higher yields each time. Also your plants will be more resistant to shock, droughts, and really give it that X factor I call it! Its great for rehabilitating plants and clippings. Then I decided to spend the big bucks for the outdoor unit. This runs two hours at dust and dawn and my vegitable garden is loving it while some citrus trees I recently planted look like they are bouncing back instead of dieing!! Its pricey but you get a lot of nutrients. Seriously experiment with this, give it some time and you'll get results.

It might seem ridiculous playing music for your plants but this isn't Led Zepplin or Weird Al music it is embedded with the frequency that actually simulates the pours on the leaves. The plants actually feed through the leaves and not just through the roots. Now what do you think that will do for your buds if they don't need to use as much energy to get the nutes to the buds! Now if you can get a couple more zips would it be worth it? I think you will agree that it is! I can see this unit wouldn't be right for everyone like if you sleep with your plants! But that said, the music is pretty relaxing so I guess its not just for the plants! Also if lighting is an issue this will keep your plants growing in less than optimal light!

Hey dud007 ,,,, thanks for the info ...I might try it on my indoors.....do you think it could be used to revert hermie clones..?

Not sure, my expertise has been in Grand Daddy which is a fem-only species, and I haven't seen any signs of a male (it would probably be worth money though, since it could result in GDP seeds and progress it from being clone-only strain!) But as far as getting your clones out of shock, it will help it bounce back faster. I've noticed too that clones can survive longer without rooting because the Sonic Bloom will allow it to absorb water & nutes through their leaves.

.....do you think it could be used to revert hermie clones..?

Step one: shake well then used less than a quarter tablespoon

2. Used the Berey filtered shower water on high pressure to fill the spray bottle

3 & 4: Before the spray, Sonic Bloom has been playing for hours

5 & 6 After the spray the leaves become so heavy they droop down. Unlike regular water that just beads off.

I just learned of this product last week but i have heard of these concepts many years ago... im glad to see someone on here is actually using sonic bloom on mj! Anymore info or tips that anyone has on SB would be great to hear about.

I would love to test this out! But a side by side test would be pretty impossible because you wouldnt be able to keep a percentage of the crop from hearing the music. I guess i could use 2 different rooms (1 with SB and 1 without) but then the test becomes less accurate... any ideas on how to a test Sonic Bloom to see what it acually does?

Plants are way more complicated and advanced then we know or can fully understand... i beleive there could be something to this idea...

Check out this link: https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/222916-how-plants-communicate.html ... Most people dont even believe me when i tell them some of the things that plants are capable of.

I used Sonic Bloom with a wetting agent. Sprayed it on every other day during vegging. Buds got huge and mega powerful Results were awesome. Used with green crack, blackberry and sour diesel. Don't have the CD so no music was involved - a little rock and roll maybe.

I want to try this but have read else were that sonic bloom contains Gibberilic Acid and should not e used on hemp.
I've read that Gibberilic Acid can completely change the sex of a plant or produce males on a female plant.
I don't know anyone who's used it personally and would love to try it.
I've seen some where that it alright to use on sativa's but not indicas but no clue if this is right.
I did find one guy who claim that on sonic blooms own site it says it can't be used on hemp but this was back in 2005 and don't know if this was or still is the case.
I seen in a few places people using Gibberilic Acid for seed germination.
I've also read that it's fine to use sonic bloom as long as you use it at the right times.
I'd love some feed back from someone who's actually used the stuff as well as some info as what strains was used on and if it was used for the full cycle.

Was thinking of doing a few and try different things on each 1.
ie 4 plants
1 base case no sonic bloom for full cycle
1 sonic bloom just in veg
1 sonic bloom full cycle - flush
1 sonic bloom in veg infrequent during flower or maybe just first few weeks.

If i were to try this i would probably use a weaker concentration during flower or maybe a series of tst with variable concentration.

If anyone could confirm or denie anything stated above would be appreciated

Flyboy,
Wish I had the time to research what you're saying but all I can speak from is EXPERIENCE....
I have never had any problems with hermies in the past 4 years of using Sonic Bloom. Females stay just as female, and will yield better and
faster! (my last crop was done in 45 days from transition to harvest. 10+ zips off of 5 plants using a 600 watt HPS and a couple 90 Watt LED lights).
That being said, Sonic Bloom works just as well on every other fruit or vegetable plant I've tried it on. Better yield + faster yield, even in less-than-optimal conditions.
I would be interested to see if your results are same as mine!
