hello all, just moved into a new house, and have a new grow area. Trying to finish up my vision for the new place.

It's a garage. Prob. gonna section off an area about 4'x10' on the side of garage & encapsulate w/ panda film.

Gonna hav small veg. area, and bloom will be done inside of a 3'x3' tent (inside of panda film area).

MY BIG QUESTION IS.... WHERE IS THE MOST EFFICIENT PLACE TO MOUNT MY FAN??

On my previous grows in old house, I used the same tent inside of a closet & installed fan in attic, had ducting attached to a 4" flange on top back of tent, which was connected via flex. ducting to the fan, abut 4' above it in the attic.

SUCK IS ALWAYS BETTER THAN BLOW, RIGHT?? seriously, I don't wanna attach fan right to flange on back of tent to blow, right?? I want fan to be sucking hot air up into attic (above garage) & expel there for most efficiency, right?

Heres the main reason I started this thread. I've heard all these folks talkin about avoiding 90degree angles with your ducting (reduces by 30% or something), but I have seen & used a 90 degree bend with success. (THat closet in old house was very small, so I had to connect ducting to flange @ almost exactly 90degree angle, and it still sucked the walls in on full blast).

I have spent a good amount of time looking @ grow rooms on youtube, etc. to see other folks set-ups, and have seen plenty of 90 degree angles workin just fine. Not optimal, of course, but gets the job done.

I guess, could anyone help illustrate, or advise a resource where I can see some alternate mounting methods???

Just wanna get the most efficient set up comin out the gate.

Any & all advice is appreciated!
